A lot has happened in this past week. Now everyone's attention is drawn towards what happened with George Floyd. It's terrible that he got killed in such a brutal way, and on top of that the cops surrounding the murdered did nothing. In addition, he wasn't even resisting arrest prior to the event. What's worse is that this has been going on for centries. It shouldn't be normal but it is.
Huge protests are happeining nationally and everyone is outraged. The job of law enforcement is to stop crimes, and save lives, not to end them. When the lawbreaker is the law, who are we supposed to turn to?
We're supposed to be the United States of America, but will we ever be united?
